I believe within each of us is a desire to live a life with peace, acceptance, joy, and purposefulness. Yet, sometimes the worry of uncertainty about what lies ahead or the stress from the past gets in the way of connecting within. Although finding a supportive person to help sort through the thoughts and emotions that get in the way may seem daunting, you are here now and you don’t have to face it alone.
I am a Licensed Counselor, Accredited, Certified EFT Practitioner, and Certified Yoga Instructor. Therapy, yoga, and tapping have been a wellness trifecta for me and I take great care to uniquely combine these techniques for my client’s care, many of whom find it more helpful than traditional talk therapy. My experience includes an extensive background in crisis management and trauma treatment prior to transitioning to a full-time virtual private practice for adults. In addition to providing trauma treatment, I focus on helping individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, anger management, and providing support for those undergoing stressful life transitions. During both the therapeutic and coaching process, I empower clients to discover their inner resources and own resolve, while guiding them into a safe path of self-discovery.
The combined studies of psychotherapy, tapping, and yoga has given me the tools to find within a sense of self-acceptance and peace for the person I am today. One of my greatest joys in helping others is to witness people resolve past issues and manage current stressors to gravitate toward a life filled with more joy and contentment.
In my spare time, I enjoy practicing what I bring to my clients; yoga, meditation, tapping and exercise, as well as spending time with family, traveling, binge watching a healthy dose of comedies, volunteering at the local animal shelter, and any outdoor activities that do not require running. :)
